HAPPY BDAE MUMMY!

so yesterday was mummy’s birthday and we had dinner @ City square (near little indai! LOL) on of the Japanese steamboat restaurants there(:

but the steamboat was awesome and its so rare daddy would wanna bring us there:D He wa so nice yesterday. But u know every birthday comes with a cake right? But sadly we didn’t have the time to buy one and cos of work i had no time to make a cake for me. so i felt REALLY REALLY awful yesterday D: so i decided to bake a cake, make her card, prepare dinner and play a guitar song for mum today.

BUT then, after lunch tday my stomach hurt like crap so i chionged home after buying the instant cake mixer and whip cream and eneded up sleeping till ard 345 or so.

ANyway it ended up well cos my cake SUCEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at first i thought it wouldve failed cos i lacked super alot of ingredients so i just dig out whats left in the cupboard. Instead of whip cream i used milk, instead of cofee powder, i used coffee bits, instead of icing sugar i used brown sugar. But in the end, the cake still turned out not bad and i tell u, it looks APPETISING.

HAHHA then when we were baking the cake, we baked for like 30 mins, but it was not cooked, so we added 10 mins, then 5 mins, and it was like kinda screwed up and the crust seemed to be a bit chaoda u know. so we were like saying, i think we failed D:. But when mummy came bk today and we tried it, she lovedddd it. and the texture was what it was suppose to taste like. EVn daddy, who alwys critisize the cakes mummy aked were not nice said mine was good and get be made for christmas as a log cake!

YAYAYYAY! this is my first time baking on my own and it was a splendid success! i shall be more adventurous in the future! hahaha my improvisation skills not bad ey! Like any other birthdays, i think this birthday is the most memorable, special, and tuned out better than what i’ve always planned for my mum(:
