Chinatown :D

Friday was fun. Mum, Ah Yee and I went to chinatown to shop for presents for my Thai Buddy and ethnic costumes.

In the end we bought these stuff:

1. Chocolates

2. Pineapple tarts

3. Postcards

4. Mini handbag

5. Magnets

6. A set of random stuffs (Card holder, bell and picks for eating fruits)

I think total the gifts are @ least worth $50 already. But i guess its worthwhile and a gd way to thank the host’s family for their hospitality and everything. Gonna pack my luaggage and wrap presents tmrw! Oh yea and i’ve got like guitar lessons tmrw so must practise is the morning.

Ok back to fri. I got some chinese dress, i think its a qipao or cheongsam. We’re like supposed to wear it for the dinner on one of the days, n i really can’t believe i will actually wear it. haha. But everybody’s gonna wear right? So, i’ve got no choice lah. Yep. And i think i’m gonna miss my family went i’m overseas D: Most probably i’ll get homesick on the 1st day alr. lol. ANyways mummy say i must be independent. So i shall prove to her that i will be independent(:

Sheesh i get sidetracked rlly easily. K back to fri again. So we shopped shopped shopped and it rained quite heavily then we went around chinatown central, OG and wanted to go to takashimaya but didnd’t have the time.

Since ah yee’s vegetarian, we went to vegetarian restaurants for lunch and dinner. It is quite interesting having vegetarian for a change. Lunch was at one of the chinatown streets and a shophouse owned by this man and his family who were like spreading the knowledge of buddhism or smt. I had the vege wrap which was SUPER huge but quite nice. haha the shop owner was like: “You want the rice set? You want the wrap? Okay. But you must wait awhile. Its very nice!” He said to like almost every customer that his food is very nice, and i was like ._. Then mummy told me of course he would do that, cos who would wanna tell pple “Our food soso only lah”. But anyways i think the old man is rlly friendly n everything.

Then for dinner, we went to vege deli. the food is srsly interesting, u shld try it! Cos its like everytime u relate to vegetarian food u would think its tofu, vege, and fake meat. Yea its fake meat but in the menu, there’s like asian food, jap food, korean food and even western food. So i got like something called KMT which is supposed to be their famous choice. Its like fish n chips but the fish is deep fired tofu which tastes really good, plus salad n fries. I wonder how they make the sushi and their shark fin’s soup. haha.

And mummy bought me a phone!
